More Sears and Kmart store closures are happening in 2020 -- here are all the locations
Transformco, Sears and Kmart's parent company, says it plans to close 96 more stores.
The decision comes shortly after the business also announced it received $250 million in funding from lenders that include owner Eddie Lampert.

“We will continue to evaluate our Sears and Kmart footprint, consistent with our overall retail and service strategy,” the company said.
The latest round of closures are set to take place in February, and the company will begin rolling out holiday sales December 2. Once the 51 Sears stores and 45 Kmart close, the company will have 182 stores in total left.
