Luxury brand Gucci taps Gucci Mane for its latest campaign
Italian luxury brand Gucci has finally collaborated with its longtime fan, Gucci Mane.
The Atlanta-based rapper and New York Times Bestselling author announced the exciting new partnership between the two powerhouses on his Instagram page earlier this week. "Proud to announce my #GucciCruise20 Collection with @gucci!!! Yo @alessandro_michele this collection is crazy ! #HarmonyKorine dope visuals! #ComeAsYouAre_RSVP campaign for the #GucciCruise20 Collection ITS GUCCI!!!!!!!!!!!!," the star exclaimed.
Gucci tapped Gucci Mane as part of its #ComeAsYouAre_RSVP Cruise 2020 campaign. "Godfather of Punk" Iggy Pop and actress Sienna Miller are also part of the Spring/Summer advertisement campaign.
"Gucci's party is permanent because it represents, first of all, a state of mind: Everything is possible, there are no boundaries, everybody goes with everybody and what goes around comes around," the official press release explained. "The clothes offer endless possibilities to be whomever you want or to appear as you prefer, without any barriers or limits whatsoever."
The 70s-themed, colorful campaign also doubles as Gucci Mane's cover art for his upcoming album "Woptober II," which is set to be released October 17.
