Ketel One launches an exclusive new campaign, Drink Marvelously, ahead of the Emmys
Ketel One, a vodka brand known to celebrate diversity and inclusion, announced its newest creative campaign ahead of the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards.
As viewers celebrate the night honoring the best in U.S. prime time television programming, the brand wants consumers to Drink Marvelously and enjoy the night with friends (or strangers) who bring joy and laughter.
The campaign, Drink Marvelously, is Ketel's way of encouraging consumers to revel in the beautiful, magical moments life provides. Whether you're at a bar or relaxing at home, Ketel's new marvelous drinks invite you into a creative world where the simplest occasions in life are transformed into whimsical moments.
To help bring the festive campaign, co-created with creative partners, FIG, to life, the brand is rolling out a series of hand-drawn illustrations and animations that reflect and simulate those marvelous instances. The animated scenes will premiere during the Emmys in New York in Los Angeles -- and will be followed by a national television and digital rollout in October.

“Drink Marvelously is a departure from what we’re seeing elsewhere in the world of vodka right now,” says Jim Ruane, Brand Director at Ketel One. “But we’ve always viewed ourselves a little differently – our vodka is made in Schiedam, Holland, by the Nolet family, honoring a 328-year, 11-generation distilling legacy – so creating this work excites and delights us. We’re inviting people to an entirely new, marvelous world that’s actually right in front of us. We hope to create a unique sense of discovery and spark imagination instead of simply re-creating familiar occasions and experiences. But the work is truly something to be felt rather than explained.”
For fans who aren't able to attend the awards show, don't fret. Ketel One partnered with Cocktail Courier to deliver the ultimate drinking experience right to your home. Each cocktail kit includes all the necessary ingredients to create eight Marvelous Mules, the official drink of the Emmys, in the comfort of your own home. The at-home kit comes with step-by-step instructions on how to create the perfect mule as well as two mule mugs.
However, the official Emmys cocktail collection also includes:
- The Marvelous Mule – An unexpected global twist to the classic ginger mule that incorporates turmeric and lemongrass
- The Dapper Dragon – A delightful sipping experience highlighted by vibrant dragon fruit, papaya nectar and cardamom-spiced coconut water

Not only is Ketel One the Official Spirits Partner of the Emmys but the brand is also set to host Billy Porter's 50th birthday celebration in Los Angeles. On September 18, guests will experience unique, marvelous moments (and cocktails) to bring to life the spirit of the new campaign and pay tribute to the guest of honor.
