Bloomingdale's is calling for an end to bullying with an exclusive capsule collection

With limitless options and destinations to choose from when it comes to buying apparel online or in-person, we've become more conscious about spending our money in stores and with companies that are making a positive impact on their communities.

Shoppers want to purchase from brands that they can identify with, and that have missions and messages beyond just simply making money and completing sales.

One simple message and mission we can all get behind? Being kind to one another.

For the second year in a row, Bloomingdale's is teaming up with Kind Campaign, an organization working to help girls heal from and help put an end to bullying.

Just in time for back-to-school season (a time when cliques begin to form and bullying can start to peak for young girls), Bloomingdale's and Kind Campaign are rolling out the Shop for Good initiative in stores across the country.

Featuring different in-store interactions like a Kind Wall (where guests can write down kind thoughts and encouraging words), photo activations and customization opportunities, Shop for Good will also feature a capsule collection of women's t-shirts designed by Girl Dangerous:

Each shirt's price ends in $0.01, in hopes of encouraging shoppers to participate in the companies' Round Up for Change initiative which will allow them to round their purchases up to the nearest dollar, the extra change going directly to Kind Campaign to help fund its curriculum and programming.

Shop for Good will run from August 6 to 11, giving in-store customers that choose to round up their purchases a chance to score a Bloomingdale’s gift card ranging in value from $25 to a whopping $750.

“Our philanthropic roots allow us to work with organizations that share the same passions and values as us," said Frank Berman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Bloomingdales. “By working with Kind Campaign, we’re able to do our part in helping kids grow in a positive environment that is built on kindness and empowerment.”

We'll spend our dollars on that any day!
