This 11-year-old started a beef jerky company to save stray dogs in Mexico
At 10 years old, Malia found her calling.
Her family visited Mexico often, and each time, her heart broke when she saw how many stray dogs roamed the streets looking for food and shelter.
Malia's desire to help those helpless animals, transformed into a thriving business. A year later, she is now the owner of Mi Amigo Jerky, a company that creates delicious beef jerky and donates 100 percent of the proceeds to re-home stray dogs in Mexico.
