Dr. O'Reilly has been treating children with cancer for nearly 50 years — here's why he thinks a cure is on its way

Nearly 50 years ago, Dr. Richard O'Reilly began his career as a pediatric oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Considered the "God of bone marrow transplantation," Dr. O'Reilly's research has been instrumental in changing the course of cancer treatment. And Dr. O'Reiley believes that a cure for this disease, which affects one in three people, is on its way.
