Berkshire Hathaway renews building lease in Omaha for 20 years

The Berkshire Hathaway 2019 Annual Shareholders Meeting kicked off early Saturday morning with Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger delivering welcome statements.

Buffett also announced Berkshire Hathaway renewed its lease at the Omaha headquarters. Additionally, the new 20-year lease will allow the company to expand to a second floor in its current building. The businessman also noted the extended stay will promote growth in the town. "I promise this is good for Omaha," Buffett said.
