Marriott Bonvoy wants to give you your own butler and glam squad for Coachella -- Here's how

Though the weather may not be in agreement, festival season is upon us and the big kickoff is less than a month away — We’re, of course, talking about Coachella.

The Music and Arts Festival that takes place in the middle of the desert finds most attendees shacking up on campgrounds. yet has ironically become synonymous with all things luxury and Instagram-worthy.

This year, Marriott Bonvoy has found a perfect way to exemplify the feel of that fusion with an influx of glamping options up for bid.

Since Marriott’s partnership with Coachella began in 2015, there have been over 200 activations at the festival that rewards members have been eligible to bid on, totaling nearly 43.5 million points bid in total over the past 3 years.

When Marriott unveiled Marriott Bonvoy earlier this year, rewards members were introduced to the new unified travel-focused loyalty program that would be taking the place of the company’s three previously separate rewards programs (Starwood Preferred Guest rewards, Marriott Rewards and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards.)

One of the biggest changes upon merging the three programs was that members who weren’t previously under the SPG umbrella would now have access to SPG Moments (now called Marriott Bonvoy Moments) which included first-class, exclusive experiences all around the world — and this year’s Coachella’s activations are taking those moments to the next level.

This year, Marriott Bonvoy is offering three unique activations across both Weekend 1 and Weekend 2 of Coachella.

Similar to last year’s‘W Village’ experience, Marriott Bonvoymembers can bid for a fully-furnished W Yurt during Weekend 1 for themselves and one guest. Included in the package is also two artist passes and access to the resort and Safari Campground throughout all of Weekend 1.

Coachella-minded rewards members can also bid towards an Aloft Hotels Safari Tent, which includes all of the amenities and decor consistent with an Aloft hotel room, in addition to a concierge service, air conditioning and golf cart services to the main festival area. Two Safari Guest Passes are also included in this package.

But perhaps the biggest Bonvoy perk this year is the brand-new Marriott Bonvoy Bungalow with room for four guests. The creme-de-la-creme of luxury Coachella experiences, the Bungalow will offer private butler service, an on-demand glam squad and masseuse for much-needed touch ups and relaxation moments, free wi-fi, food and drink and so much more. It takes Coachella VIP to a whole new level, even including four VIP passes to Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

Bidding on all three experiences is live here and will close between April 2 and April 4, depending on the Bonvoy experience and its corresponding date.
