eBay's most expensive items sold in 2018

Despite the growing popularity of Amazon and other online retailers, eBay managed to have a stellar shopping season this year. The e-commerce giant says it had 'record-setting' Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales -- and experts predict the company will continue its steady growth well into 2019.

While the two shopping holidays certainly assisted in an amazing year for the brand, eBay can also credit its record sales to some of its most expensive items, too. Some of the super pricey purchases include a half million dollar watch, automobiles, collectible sports memorabilia, a helicopter and a $3.3 million lunch with Warren Buffett.
