The biggest travel trends of 2019

The travel industry is ever-evolving and in 2018, it saw some of the biggest changes yet. With many travel companies recognizing the rise in traveling, the travel and tourism industries now accounts for more than one-tenth of global GDP -- and analysts expect that amount to increase in the coming years.

And with the increase of spontaneous and solo travel amongst U.S. millennials, some experts also believe the trends in 2019 will be significantly different than years past.

According to Dom Scarlett, travel expert at TravelPirates, these are the eight trends predicted to blow up in 2019:
