Millennial to Millionaire: How Amy Levin Klein built a fashion empire in college

Amy Levin Klein, 31, started her company College Fashionista in 2009, while she was studying abroad in London.

"This was my first exposure to street style photography, and analyzing how that is predicting what designers are then creating," Klein says.

Inspired by her experience in London, Klein took her camera back to Indiana University and started photographing her classmates' and friends' outfits. Today, College Fashionista, a Gen Z community-based brand empowering students, is now active in over 1,000 colleges across the country and includes 20,000 student members.
