Updated

Known as "Ms. Dot" by colleagues and students, Dorothy Johnson has spent 61 years working in facilities management at Temple University. Johnson is considered a fixture of the community, distributing packages, mail and an endless smile.

"I like being in here, there's always somebody you can help," says Johnson.

Not only is Johnson a staple in the Temple community, she is also one of the employees who helped start the union at the university and is the "nuts and bolts" in the organization.
