Buffalo Wild Wings got hacked, posted some wildly offensive tweets
Buffalo Wild Wings was the latest victim of a hacked Twitter account on Friday night, and it’s safe to say the perpetrators weren’t interested in keeping things tame.
The sports bar and restaurant chain apologized after a series of disturbing tweets were posted between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. ET on Friday night. Buffalo Wild Wings called the posts “awful” – adding that they “obviously” did not come from them.
Well, we were hacked. And it wasn’t funny. We apologize for the awful posts, which obviously did not come from us.

Many of the posts contained racial slurs – including the n-word. One was directed at producer Tariq Nasheed. Another involved Wendy’s.

Buffalo Wild Wings has yet to reveal how exactly the account was hacked. They say they plan pursuing action, however. They released a statement to USA Today:
“Buffalo Wild Wings’ Twitter account was hacked,” the Minneapolis-based company told USA TODAY in a statement. “We’re sorry that our fans had to see those awful posts, which obviously did not come from us. We are in touch with our Twitter representatives and will pursue the appropriate action against the individuals involved.”
Buffalo Wild Wings isn’t the first company to get hacked on Twitter, and it certainly won’t be the last. But it still isn’t a great look, to say the least.
