These are the highest paying companies in each state
Are you living in the right state to find a high paying job in your field? Well it used to be harder to determine that, but now companies have to be more transparent about employee salaries. As of February public companies are now required to disclose a ratio that compares the salary of their CEO with the pay of their median employee.
Though some of the ratios were very closely aligned with the Economic Policy Institute‘s estimation that CEOs were making as much as 270 times that of their average workers in 2016, many companies, especially those in California and New Jersey are paying their workers very impressive six-figure salaries. Using data from the labor groud AFL-CIO for companies in the Russell 3000 stock market index, Moneyput together the best paying companies headquartered in each state.
