Top-selling Prime Day items around the world

The results are in!

Amazon's annual Prime Day sales event was a huge success, with sales surpassing Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

The e-commerce giant saw record sales for its devices, including the Echo, Fire tablets and Kindle devices -- and the Element 55-inch 4K Ultra HD smart LED TV – Amazon Fire TV Edition was the best-selling TV deal in Amazon history.

The company also revealed on Wednesday the most popular non-Amazon products around the world -- and the top-selling items may surprise you. Americans went crazy for a pressure cooker, for instance, while people in China couldn't stop ordering a plush seahorse toy.
