Couple searches for nanny to care for children and ghosts in haunted house

Unemployed people of the world -- your job search might very well end here.

A family of four living in a small village in the Scottish Borders is searching for an "exceptional" nanny to care for their two children, ages five and seven.

Responsibilities of the position include preparing breakfast, getting the children ready for school, dropping off and picking up the kids from school, helping them with their homework, getting them ready for bed and dealing with the hoard of restless spirits that apparently plague the residence.

Typical babysitter stuff.

The family posted an ad for the nanny position on the site childcare.co.uk, and, to be fair, it actually does sound pretty sweet at first glance.

"You will be provided with your own comfortable room with en-suite bathroom and private kitchen," the job listing reads. "We are offering a salary of £50,000 gross per annum and 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) for the right person."

But, as per usual, the position has some minor downfalls.

"We have lived in our home for nearly 10 years. We were told it was 'haunted' when we bought it, but kept our minds open and decided to buy the house regardless," the ad reads. "5 nannies have left the role in the last year, each citing supernatural incidents as the reason, including strange noises, broken glass and furniture moving."

The couple goes on to say that they haven't personally experienced any of these alleged supernatural happenings. The 'hauntings' have only been reported while they've been out of the house.

Unfortunately for their future nanny, the listing also says the couple are very busy professionals who are often required to travel for work.

"There are occasions, up to 4 nights per week, (weekdays only) when we will both be away and you will be at the property alone in sole charge," the listing states.

On the plus side, the house is supposedly set on historic property in a remote location with spectacular views of the Scottish countryside.
