Grandma resigns from her job with hilarious curt letter
Typically, when you leave a job you hand in a resignation letter and two weeks notice. One Scottish grandma gave her termination -- and obviously didn't care about burning bridges.
Twitter user @_kaitlynmcgrory shared the letter her grandmother wrote on the site:
"The joab's [sic] crap and I'm leaving," the letter reads. "I'll no [sic] be back after June 30."
"Good luck getting some other mug to clean the place," it continued. Marlene, as the letter identifies, did end with a pleasant "Cheerio."
The funny letter quickly circulated Twitter and garnered over 5,500 retweets and 24,000 likes.
