MOD Pizza giving out free pizza, salad for Teacher Appreciation Day
There's no doubt that anyone reading this has felt the positive impact of an educator.
We would also venture to say that anyone reading this has, at one point or another, felt the positive impact that a solid slice of pizza has had on their life.
So, it only seems natural to combine the two in a promotion, right?
This Tuesday, May 9, is being recognized as Teacher Appreciation Day and MOD Pizza, based out of Seattle, is serving up a pretty sweet deal.

Since nothing says "thank you" more than free pizza, MOD Pizza is serving it up free for all educators and school staff members all day on Tuesday— no strings attached!
All teachers and school staff members need to do is show their school ID and they're golden for a free pizza or salad of their choosing, valid at all U.S. locations.
Co-Founder of MOD Pizza, Ally Svenson, shared:
"MOD was built on the idea that taking care of people is good for business. Teachers and school staff are so integral to building stronger communities and this is our small way of showing gratitude for their role in helping our kids learn and achieve their dreams. We hope that lots of these local heroes will take a moment to enjoy this treat on us!"
The company is known to give back -- They've worked with over 195 community-based charities in the country and donated over a whopping $1 million to at-risk youth and families in need.
