Carvel's Free Cone Day on April 27 will help support American Red Cross
There's something about the thought of creamy, twisty soft-serve ice-cream that seems to be synonymous with the name Carvel.
Since nothing's quite as satisfying as a cone of that good stuff, Carvel's deciding to pay it back to its customers who can't get enough by offering up free cones on Thursday, April 27.
From 3 pm to 8 pm, stop by Carvel to cash in on a free junior-sized cone of chocolate, vanilla, or if you're really feeling like going for it, Carvel's newest Cookie Butter flavor.
But the sweetness doesn't stop there.
For the sixth year in a row, Carvel is partnering with the American Red Cross for the charity's annual Giving Day by offering a coupon book for $1 that includes over $20 of savings that can be used towards all of the cones your heart desires as the weather heats up.
Scott Colwell, president of Carvel, gushed about the importance of the special day:
"Free Cone Day is much more than just a 'freebie' day'. Not only is it the official start of ice cream season, but it's a special day for us to show genuine gratitude to our loyal guests while coming together to raise funds for a very worthy cause."
Cones for a cause – Now that's a real treat!
