Bed Bath & Beyond confirms it no longer carries Trump brand products
Bed Bath & Beyond just joined the growing list of retailers dropping Trump products.
A customer service representative purportedly confirmed that the national retail chain is no longer carrying items affiliated with the Trump name in an email exchange with a patron.
According to the unverified screenshot, which surfaced on Twitter on Friday, a customer named "Ashton" visited the Bed Bath & Beyond after seeing it listed as a Trump product-carrying retailer on the #GrabYourWallet list -- but was unable to locate Trump products on its e-commerce site.
Customer service representative Cathy responded:
"Thank you for your e-mail. We sincerely apologize for this issue. At this time, we are no longer carrying Trump merchandise."
If true, this would be one of the largest national retail chains to reject Trump merchandise -- and no doubt spark backlash among the president's supporters.
The company has yet to officially comment.
