The McDonald's McPizza is real -- but only in these 2 locations

Updated

Fast-food junkies will know about the elusive McPizza -- a failed piece of McDonald's history launched in the 1980s.

Available in stores across the country until the '90s, the fast-food giant eventually killed off the menu item due to its not-very-fast 11-minute cook time.

Two decades later, the menu item is largely an urban legend ... or is it?

The McPizza is actually still available at two McDonald's locations in the country: Pomeroy, Ohio, and Spencer, West Virgina.

As news has spread through the years, people have become so enthralled by the personal pizza that they've trekked to either Ohio or West Virginia to taste it.

So what are you waiting for? Whether you're lucky enough to live near either location or plan on taking a trip, the delectable McPizza is awaiting your arrival. And yes, you should definitely order fries with that.
