John Collison just became the world's youngest self-made billionaire

Move over, Evan Spiegel, there's a new youngest self-made billionaire in town.

Born in Limerick, Ireland, John Collison has accomplished one of the most prestigious achievements in the entrepreneur world. The 26-year-old and his brother, Patrick Collison, are the founders of an online payments processing company called Stripe. The duo built the company from the ground up in 2010, and it is currently valued at 1.75 billion -- with investors ranging from Elon Musk to Peter Thiel.

Due to the company's success, John earned the titled of the world's youngest self-made billionaire in 2016. John and his brother also made Forbes's billionaires list, each with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion.
