Costco now delivers to your door

If you hate going to the grocery store, you're not alone. Taking lead from retailers like Amazon and Google, Costco is now joining the growing number of grocery stores to team up with delivery services that bring fresh goods right to your door. Grocery delivery services are so popular, in fact, that the Food Market Institute expects 20 percent of grocery shopping to take place online by 2025 — that's $100 billion in annual sales.

Costco partnered with delivery service Shipt to distribute its products in the Tampa metro area this week, with plans to expand to 50 markets by the end of the year. A Shipt membership will run you $99 per year for unlimited Costco deliveries, but Tampa area residents can try the service free of charge for their first two weeks. Those who do will receive a $15 discount off their first Shipt order.
