Fans freak out after Nike debuts new type of sportswear

Do your workout clothes always feel a little too snug?

Women in need of plus size workout gear can now head to the gym rocking the swoosh because Nike just released plus size workout gear.

The brand made its iconic sports bras available in a size E cup last summer, but clothes were still only available in sizes XS to XL.

Now shirts, hoodies, shorts and leggings are available in sizes 1X to 3X.

Nike said in a statement: "The days where we have to add 'female' before 'athlete' are over. She is an athlete, period. We celebrate these athletes' diversity, from ethnicity to body shape."

With the word Equality as its Instagram profile picture, Nike has always made efforts to be a company of inclusiveness.

Nike fans are already showing the new plus size options some love.

One girl tweeted: "Nike now has a plus size line and that makes me so happy. Big girls wanna look good in the gym too."

Another user tweeted:

me: "I'm only gonna buy clothes that I could wear at a job!"

also me: *spends paycheck on Nike plus size sportwear*

One girl was just excited to see curvy models, tweeting:

"Time has finally come... Nike now has plus size models"
