Ryan Gosling is having a pretty good year.

Gosling and Emma Stone's hit musical, 'La La Land', is nominated for an astounding 14 Academy Awards at this year's Oscars.

But for as big of a Hollywood name as Gosling bears, his life outside of the movie sis surprisingly simple, and humble.

In fact, he used to crash with his girlfriend Eva Mendes in this Hollywood hills abode before they both moved into his two-bedroom former bachelor pad (where the two are currently residing).

Mendes sold the home back in 2014 for a solid $1.279M.

The funky, eclectic vibes exude from the architecture to the décor – even the hot tub is made out of cedar wood!

Take a look at Mendes' former home -- Also known as Gosling's former crash pad:

A retro kitchen can be found amongst three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Outside, this place boasts fruit trees, a chicken coop and vegetable garden, perfect for that southern California organic lifestyle.

Oh, and not to mention a handcrafted outdoor shower.

The property shows off incredible views of the Hollywood hills and beyond -- Though we can't say any are as beautiful as a view of Gosling himself.
