Former Blockbuster employees reveal their fondest memories

For many children of the '80s and '90s, going to Blockbuster was a weekend staple.

The American-based home movie and video game rental service was known for its vast collection of classic VHS tapes and recently-released silver screen films. For decades, the company dominated the movie rental scene and gained a loyal fanbase of customers across the world.

While its extensive movie selection was certainly the brand's main attraction, there's no denying that the employees were a great addition, too. Most of the time, members of the staff were go-to people for any and everything movie related. From recommendations to processing late fees, Blockbuster employees were a vital part of the company's success.

Although the company may be a business of the past, its legacy still lives on -- thanks to the employees.
