A video showing a road being built in Western Australia has attracted 15 million views.

The footage captured by a drone shows the strip of road being sprayed with bitumen, then covered with gravel, in shire of Moora, which has only 2,500 inhabitants. The shire of Moora council originally recorded the footage to show to people involved in the road construction program.

He added that the 15 million views the video garnered was beyond all expectations. Airstrip Road, which leads to the Moora Airfield where emergency service vehicles pass through in the event of emergency, was upgraded with 443,000 Australian dollars (270,750 pounds) through the Federal Government Roads to Recovery Programme.
