This upscale airstream hotel that just opened redefines 'glamping'
Living simply is something that's become trendy recently, especially with the rise of tiny homes and luxury RVs.
Simple vacations are also more sought after then ever, giving a nod to "glamping" (glamorous camping aka camping with luxury amenities).
So what about combining the two for a simple yet luxurious getaway that's nothing but absolutely Instagram-worthy?
AutoCamp is one step ahead of the trend, thanks to their concept of a "boutique camping property", or in simpler terms, an airstream hotel.
With one property already operating in Santa Barbara, the company has just opened a second location in Northern California, about 90 minutes north of San Francisco in the Russian River area.
Take a look at the adorable "camp grounds" and surrounding area below:
Each luxury trailer is furnished by Geremia Design, including a queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV, walk-in sized shower, a pull out sofa, a deck and a fire pit.
The toiletries and décor are handpicked and truly make you feel like you're staying at a 5-star hotel.
The property contains 24 airstreams, 10 tents (for all those who want the true "glamping" experience) and a lounge pavilion.
Though cheaper than staying in a traditional five-star hotel, staying at the most upscale of all camping grounds still has a heavy price tag.
Nightly rates start at $225 for an airstream and $139 for a tent.
