Your Local Kohl's May Be Going High Tech

Your local Kohl's could be getting a high-tech makeover!

Sales at Kohl's fell 3.9% in the first quarter of 2016, but the innovation lab has a few high tech tricks up its sleeve to beef up things on the e-commerce side!

Kohl's may have an interactive glass screen where customers get to watch YouTube videos or scroll through instagram to get more information about the clothes.

They're also launching a Mobile Payment service for their app, and possibly a clothes hanger with a sensor connected to a screen that would give you some ideas about to complete your look . They also plan to use robots that can take full inventory overnight.

One analyst says:

While Kohl's is already one of the largest U.S. digital retailers, it's hoping that going futuristic and adding more than 800 people on its tech team, they will get more cash from your wallet!
