Apple TV's Branding Problem
Rumors abound in anticipation of Apple's Oct. 22 event and Apple TV. The newest reports point to a later release date with the hardware possibly being discussed at this event. While rumors swirl, some Apple fans view Apple TV as a promise unfulfilled.
Steve Jobs told his biographer, Walter Isaacson, that he had plans to "create an integrated television set," and eventually ending with "I finally cracked it." Yet, over two years later, we haven't seen this product come to fruition and are left with a stand-alone digital media receiver like Google TV and Roku.
