National Retail Properties Maintains Dividend

National Retail Properties is withdrawing another shareholder payout from the till. The real estate investment trust has declared its latest dividend, which is to be $0.405 per share paid on Nov. 15 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 31. That amount matches the firm's previous distribution, which was paid in August. Prior to that, National Retail was less generous by $0.01, handing out $0.395 per share.

The company is a serial dividend raiser. In the press release announcing the distribution, it did not hesitate to mention that it is one of merely four publicly traded REITs to have increased its payout for 24 or more years in a row.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.62 per share. That yields 4.9% at National Retail's current stock price of $32.74.
