Only Three Weeks Left to Nominate School Janitor of the Year

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Get your nominations in! There are only three weeks left to nominate your favorite school janitor for the first annual Janitor of the Year Contest sponsored by Cintas Corporation (NAS: CTAS) . The winning Janitor will receive a $2,500 cash prize along with $2,500 in Cintas products and services for his or her school.

Nominations will be accepted online at and via e-mail at through Oct. 30. The submissions will then be narrowed down to the top 10 finalists and open to public voting until the winner is announced on Dec. 12.

"Janitors are often the heart of the school," said Dave Mesko, Senior Director of Marketing and Strategy at Cintas. "We want to highlight the important work they do in creating a positive, clean and safe environment for our children each day."

The contest is open to all elementary, middle and high school janitors who have worked at their school for at least two years. Nominations must be 1,000 words or less and describe why the janitor is deserving of the award.
