Global Colocation Solutions Provider CyrusOne CFO Kim Sheehy Named a Finalist for Dallas Business Journal CFO of the Year Award

Sheehy's commitment to CyrusOne's financial health and future success recognized

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne (NAS: CONE) is proud to announce that Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Kimberly Sheehy has been named a finalist in the Dallas Business Journal's 2013 CFO of the Year award program.

The Dallas Business Journal is slated to honor the finalists and announce winners in multiple categories at the 2013 CFO of the Year Awards luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas.

"We're very pleased that Kim is a finalist for the CFO of the Year award, and the honor truly is well deserved," said CyrusOne president and CEO Gary Wojtaszek. "Her talent and passion for CyrusOne's financial future were paramount to the success of our initial public offering, which culminated with CyrusOne becoming a publicly traded company this past January. Kim has earned the respect of our executive team, board of directors, employees, investors in the company, and analysts who follow CyrusOne as a leading global provider of data center solutions."

Sheehy joined CyrusOne in November 2011 as the chief financial and administrative officer after serving in various financial management positions at Cincinnati Bell, including treasurer and vice president of investor relations, vice president of finance, and managing director of corporate tax. She played an integral role in relocating CyrusOne's headquarters to Carrollton, Texas, hiring the corporate staffing, and developing the systems and processes required to support it as a stand-alone public company.

CyrusOne's corporate headquarters is located at its data center facility on West Frankford Road in Carrollton. The site is home to the company's first Massively Modular® data center location and boasts 640,000 square feet of space, including raised white floor and Class A office space.

Founded in Houston in 2000, CyrusOne entered the Dallas market from a facilities perspective in 2005. It operates a total of five data centers in the North Texas area, featuring a combined square footage of over 821,000. The company's complete market presence in Texas includes 11 data centers across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Earlier this year the company launched the CyrusOne National Internet Exchange (National IX), which enables deep interconnection between all metro-enabled sites within the company's Texas facility footprint and beyond.

Delivering Best-in-Class Enterprise Facilities and Robust Connectivity

CyrusOne specializes in highly reliable enterprise data center colocation solutions and engineers its facilities with the highest power redundancy (2N architecture) and the power-density infrastructure required to deliver excellent availability.

Customers also have access to the CyrusOne National IX, which marries low-cost robust connectivity with the massively scaled data centers that CyrusOne is known for by virtually linking a dozen CyrusOne facilities in five metropolitan markets (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix). As a result, CyrusOne customers have an opportunity to go beyond the benefits of a single data center and efficiently architect a data center platform for their production or disaster recovery solution using multiple data centers connected by powerful, low-cost carrier-grade connectivity. This approach represents a true paradigm shift in the way companies are managing the creation, access, and sharing of their data.

Moreover, the CyrusOne National IX provides customers with the opportunity to drive additional revenue by improving their immediately addressable market, to reduce expenses with a lower-cost option for point-to-point connectivity between data centers, and to improve service quality through higher levels of resiliency.

CyrusOne operates 25 carrier-neutral data center facilities across the United States, Europe, and Asia that give customers the flexibility and scale to perfectly match their specific growth needs. The company is renowned for exceptional service and for building enduring customer relationships and high customer satisfaction levels. Customers include nine of the Fortune 20 companies and more than 100 of the Fortune 1000.
