Nissan Doubles Down on Electric Cars
Tesla Motors may build the sexiest electric car, but -- so far, anyway -- the best-selling electric car is Nissan's Leaf. Through July, Nissan had sold almost 12,000 Leafs here in the U.S., and many more around the world.
That isn't much compared to the sales of some of Nissan's popular gas-powered models, but it has been enough to convince the Japanese automaker to push ahead with more electrified models.
