EPIX Announces Amit Ziv Rises to Position of Vice President, Business Operations, Development and Strategy
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- EPIX, premium entertainment network, is pleased to announce today that Amit Ziv has been promoted to Vice President, Business Operations, Development and Strategy from Sr. Director, Business Operations and Strategy. In this new position, Ziv will be responsible for strategic business planning, working with EPIX executive leadership in structuring content distribution deals, developing and implementing operational initiatives to find efficiencies, and cultivating partnerships with electronic device providers to launch the EPIX app on more platforms. EPIX is currently available on all platforms including linear TV, on demand, online at EpixHD.com and devices including PS3, Xbox, Roku, iPads, iPhones, and Android tablets and phones, among others. Based in New York City at EPIX headquarters, Ziv will continue to report to Rob Sussman, EVP/General Manager, Business Operations, Development and Strategy.

Ziv previously worked at Ernst & Young as a senior consultant in the Strategy and Operations Consulting practice, working with a broad range of media and entertainment companies. While at Ernst & Young he specialized in areas of long-term planning, profitability improvement, organizational and process design, and rights management. Prior to his time at Ernst & Young, Ziv was Manager of Business Development of Madwood Media/Flutie Entertainment, a talent management and TV production company specializing in endorsements and unscripted programming.
Amit holds an MBA from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business with a concentration in Corporate Finance and Strategy and a B.A. from Michigan State University.
