Pilgrim's Pride Crushes Earnings Estimates

For the quarter, gross margin was 12.9%, 560 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 10.9%, 590 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 8.7%, 520 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $2.20 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.52.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $8.47 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.87.
