Echo Global Logistics Beats on Revenue, Matches Expectations on EPS

EPS came in at $0.17. The 10 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.17 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.17 were the same as the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS of $0.18 for Q2 were 20% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.15 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 17.7%, 110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 3.0%, 10 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 1.8%, much about the same as the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $239.0 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.22.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $919.4 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.79.
