EPS came in at $2.41. The 20 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $2.30 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $2.41 for Q2 were 13% higher than the prior-year quarter's $2.13 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.71 for Q2 were 4.9% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.63 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 31.4%, 410 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 26.2%, 160 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 11.3%, 70 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.07 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $2.66.
