Kohl's is the Destination to "Win Great Things" this Back-to-School Season

Shoppers have the chance to win thousands of prizes August 4 through September 2

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- To help enhance the excitement of the back-to-school season, Kohl's Department Stores (NYS: KSS) today announced it will be awarding thousands of prizes to customers nationwide during the "Win Great Things Back-to-School Sweepstakes."

"This year, in addition to providing just what our customers need at the value they love, we will surprise shoppers with a chance to win great prizes from sought-after brands, such as Keurig®, JanSport® and iTunes®, through our Win Great Things Back-to-School Sweepstakes."

Customers can shop the season's top fashion and home trends with Kohl's national and exclusive brands, including Nike®, Levi's®, Converse®, adidas®, Disney©, Princess Vera Wang, Jennifer Lopez, Simply Vera Vera Wang, LC Lauren Conrad, Marc Anthony, Mudd®, Candie's®, Tony Hawk®, Dana Buchman, Chaps, ELLE, Food Network, Bobby Flay, Student Lounge® and more.

How to Play

Beginning Sunday, August 4 through Monday, September 2, customers who shop Kohl's - in-store or online - will receive one game piece for every $30 spent* for the chance to win a variety of prizes, including Keurig® mini-coffee brewers, JanSport® backpacks, iTunes®** gift cards, movie tickets, Shutterfly prints, Kohl's $5 and $10 promotional gifts and more. Each game piece also offers the chance to win one of 50 prizes of $1,000 in Kohl's gift cards. In-store customers can scratch off the game piece to immediately learn if they have won. Online customers will receive a separate email with their unique codes to enter online to determine if they are an instant winner. Kohl's Partners with Staples

To ensure shoppers continue to save on all their back-to-school needs, Kohl's has teamed up with Staples, the world's largest office products company. Starting Sunday, August 4, every Kohl's customer making an in-store purchase of $30 or more will receive one coupon at checkout for $5 off a $50 in-store purchase at Staples, valid for in-store redemption through September 22, 2013. Similarly, Staples' in-store shoppers will receive a coupon at checkout for $10 off a $30 purchase at Kohl's stores nationwide, valid for in-store redemption through September 23, 2013.
