Forum Energy Technologies Misses on the Top and Bottom Lines

EPS came in at $0.34. The 17 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.35 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.34 for Q2 were 31% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.49 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.32 for Q2 were 35% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.49 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 12.8%, much worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.8%, 500 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 8.1%, 370 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $422.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.47.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.62 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.69.
