(The prior-year quarter included -$0.01 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.) GAAP EPS of $0.09 for Q1 were 53% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.19 per share. For the quarter, gross margin was 6.0%, much about the same as the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 2.1%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 1.0%, 110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $6.24 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.20.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $24.98 billion. The average EPS estimate is $0.84.
