EPS came in at $1.58. The 22 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $1.49 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.58 for Q2 were 37% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.15 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 50.8%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 17.3%, 170 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 10.3%, 100 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.75 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.62.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $6.64 billion. The average EPS estimate is $5.80.
