With more than 1 million members in the Philippines, LinkedIn has added support for the country's native language, Tagalog, the company announced this week.
As the fourth Southeast Asian language the company has launched in, LinkedIn recognizes the growing presence of Southeast Asians on its network. With more than 6 million members from Southeast Asia, LinkedIn launched in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia back in November 2011.
According to the company's most recent quarterly report, there are 225 million LinkedIn members worldwide. With 38% of its first-quarter revenue coming from international markets, LinkedIn says it will continue to localize its services for members around the world.
