Sprint to Introduce Two New Microsoft Phones
The two Windows phones are the HTC 8XT and Samsung's ATIV S Neo and will cost $99.99 and $149.99, respectively, with an eligible upgrade or new line, a two-year service agreement, and a $50 mail-in rebate card, according to Sprint. The exact timing of the new phones' introduction won't be shared until "a later date," the company said, but customers are able to pre-register on Sprint's website.
Sprint's vice president product development Fared Adib commented, "We know our customers are anxious to get their hands on these Windows Phone 8 smartphones." Terry Myerson, corporate vice president of Microsoft's Window's division, added, "With compelling hardware from HTC and Samsung, coupled with unlimited 4G LTE from Sprint, these Windows Phones will offer the complete package."
