She’s been linked to a new man, and he’s making waves with his just-announced endorsement of President Donald Trump, but Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler aren’t letting their split stop them from putting on a united front for Halloween.

On Sunday, Cavallari, who was recently spotted kissing comedian Jeff Dye, shared a photo of her and her former NFL player ex Cutler in trick-or-treat mode with their three children, sons Camden and Jaxon and daughter Saylor.

While one son’s face was already obscured thanks to his Marshmello get-up, Cavallari, 33, used emojis to protect her other children’s faces. The former Laguna Beach star wore a unicorn onesie, while 37-year-old Cutler sported prison stripes alongside their police officer son and Saylor channeled a fairy princess.

Many fans cheered the former couple for putting their differences aside to celebrate as a family.

Justin Anderson, Cavallari’s best friend and hairstylist, commented, “Buzz lightyear said it best: ‘The important thing is that we stick together!’ Love this little cozy Halloween huddle.”

Cutler and Cavallari, who wed in 2013, announced in April that they were getting a divorce; the reality star subsequently filed divorce papers accusing the former Chicago Bears quarterback of “marital misconduct.” Despite some heated filings, by May the two had reportedly reached a temporary custody agreement.

According to Cavallari’s comments on Brett Gursky’s On the List podcast earlier in the month, the split had “been coming for a long time.”

“It’s interesting because it’s like whenever someone’s announcing they’re getting a divorce — like we didn't make that decision last night and then all of a sudden put it out there,” she shared. “By that point, it was almost like a sense of relief, like I was just relieved to get it out there and start this next phase of my life. But, it’s still very sad and very up and down and it still is. It’s been a rollercoaster. I mean, it’s sad when you close a chapter of your life and Jay and I were together for 10 years and we have three kids together. I will always love Jay in some capacity and so, it’s tough.”

She also added that she’s not ready to rush into a new relationship.

“I actually prefer what I had with Jay, where you’re so comfortable with somebody, they’re your best friend, it’s so easy and great,” she explained. “That’s way more interesting to me than those new little butterflies.”

But ultimately, the pair “just couldn’t make it work.”

“You know, he’s a great guy,” she said of Cutler. “Unfortunately, we just couldn’t figure it out.”
