It’s that time a year again: The leaves are changing, pumpkin spice is sold out, and your fall wardrobe is back in your closet. Fall is my favorite fashion season, and although this fall is much different than previous ones, that doesn’t mean our collective sense of style has disappeared. That being said, I’ve put together a series of looks for every occasion to help keep you feeling a little bit sane, all the while wearing a great shoe.

I don’t know about you, but it seems like the highlights of my weekends these days are going to get coffee and picking up things I don’t need at the grocery store. Have you seen the cereal aisle lately?

Any opportunity to wear an oversized blazer I am going to take — it’s just the kind of girl I am. That’s why my Saturday outfits consist of a great fitting pair of jeans, a basic tee and an oversized blazer. This is the perfect Saturday morning ‘fit and, don’t worry, I won’t make you wear heels…yet.

I paired this ASOS dad blazer in muted blue with a Zara white cut-off tee with shoulder pads. This is one of my favorite trends right now, as it takes your plain tee to the next level — especially with some chunky jewelry. My silver chain necklace is from Aurem collective, and my Nike Air Force 1s (another fall must have) I ordered from ASOS. It’s casual, but it doesn’t look like you’ve been on the couch watching Netflix for three nights straight.

My next look takes outdoor dinning to the next level. While you’re sitting at brunch talking about your potential quarantine lover, why not wear a sweater vest? I found this chunky ivory knit vest at H&M and paired it with a white button-up underneath. (Expert tip for the H&M website: Items may say “out of stock,” but often they’re still available in stores!)

I found the white knee-highs at Zara after doing some hunting almost three years ago, and they’re still one of my favorite pairs of shoes. And I know what you’re thinking: Sweater vests are so “country club dad.” But I promise it’s one of the chicest trends for fall, and you’re going to want a few different styles. This look can even transition into those few days a week in the office where it’s now acceptable to wear a heel.

OK, enough going out. We also need outfits for those Zoom calls that could have been phone calls and for lounging on the couch seven episodes deep into a murder mystery. Zoom calls are all about being professional on top and messy on the bottom. That being said, I found classic polo shirts at Zara that I have been living in. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day and cute enough to wear with sweatpants, pajamas pants and even your favorite jean (just in case you need to run out for more cereal).

I threw on a stretchy headband from Zara to add to my preppy look. This means no one can tell that you haven’t washed your hair — plus, it looks like you took time to accessorize! My jeans are almost 7 years old (am I a vintage owner?), but just find a soft pair that feel like sweats to complete your look.

My next look is for that full Wednesday on the couch with no Zoom meetings and no coffee dates — just you and your remote. My trick to staying stylish while on the couch is monochrome. Tops and bottoms that are the same color will instantly make your outfit look more put-together. I found this set at Forever 21 and, honestly, it is one of my favorites. The one shoulder adds flare, and they are the softest jogger/ PJ bottoms I’ve ever worn.

It’s easy to stay in your college T-shirt and your boyfriend’s sweatpants, but sometimes a girl has to get dressed for herself! Throw on that hoop earring, practice your contour and, don’t worry, you don’t need to be in the office until tomorrow.

Listen, I can’t help myself. It wouldn’t be fall without a full leather look. One of my favorite trends that seems to not be going anyway is the leather blazer. I bought this one last year at Zara, and I wear it with everything. I paired this look with a high-neck top and leather mini skirt, adding a chunky gold belt.

My rule on anything “mini” is wearing a high-neck top or turtleneck. I think it makes your outfit look more classic and lets your legs and boots be the statement. I paired it with my favorite patent leather boots from Just Fab (unfortunately, they’re sold out), but I highly recommend a just-below-the-knee structured boot for the fall. It won’t be going anywhere.
