'Summer House' star Lindsay Hubbard had 'opposite' reaction to co-stars' romance than everyone else

Lindsay Hubbard isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, even if it's different from what everyone else is thinking.

The OG "Summer House" star has cemented herself as a stalwart reality star, capable of churning out memorable moments each week on the Hamptons-set Bravo hit, which often sees her cutting through the bull and getting to the heart of the matter when no one else will.

During a recent interview with In The Know's Gibson Johns, Hubbard unpacked the various romances in this year's share house (including her own failed relationship with pal Carl Radke) and, expectedly, she didn't hold back.

On Hannah Berner and Luke Gulbranson:

"I always say, for Hannah and Luke, all summer long I was just like really rooting for [them], because I think he made her happy. I had gone out to dinner with Luke a couple of times off camera during the week just to get to know him a little bit better and who he was. And I would go back on the weekends to Hannah and say, 'Hannah, I think he really likes you.'"

"The girls kind of thought he was playing Hannah or that he didn't really like her as much as he was saying that he did. And I was on the opposite end of that saying, 'No, I think he really likes Hannah. I've talked to him individually one on one, and he's really intrigued by her. He likes her. She makes him smile. He makes her smile.' So, I was rooting for it the whole time, and you guys will have to see how that ends up, of course. But I'm so excited for them."

On Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula:

"I can see both sides. I've known them... I've known Kyle for so long, and we're really, really close. Like, I truly look at him like a brother to me. And I've known Amanda since season one, so I can really sympathize with Amanda at times, but I can also see Kyle's side, because I get it."

"And it's not easy, and especially, like I said, when you're trying to figure your relationship out in a house where so many people have so many opinions, it makes it that much more difficult. So, I think all of us really just want to see them succeed and want to see them happy and want to see them have a healthy romantic intimate relationship with each other. I hope that for Kyle at least. But, yeah, I think I just really want to see them work through their issues and be able to move forward with their wedding planning."

On Jules Daoud and Jordan Verroi

"I gotta be honest — It's really uncomfortable watching the dynamic between the two of them when it's just the two of them, because, obviously, we're not privy to those conversations and those personal whatever they're doing behind closed doors, until we watch the show. And watching them, I'm just like, 'Oh, god, this is so awkward!' I don't know. I'm so glad that I'm happy for Jules that she ended that."

On Paige DeSorbo and Perry Rahbar (not on "Summer House"):

"I actually didn't know until watching the show that she was FaceTiming him during the parties on the front porch and after the parties as well. But, I can definitely understand. You have a significant other who you just started dating a couple of months ago in a serious way. You fell in love with each other. You want to be with that person. You want to spend your weekends with them. You want to have fun with them. That's what the summer's all about, and you want to do that with your significant other. So I can understand why she would miss him a lot."
