Ariel Winter is unrecognizable with her bold new hair style

Ariel Winter just ditched her dark locks in favor of a bright and airy strawberry blonde look.

The “Modern Family” star shared photos of her new ‘do on Instagram with her 4.2 million followers on Feb. 26, writing, “I’m a strawberry and a shortcake sooooo new nickname?”

Immediately, famous friends expressed approval of Winter’s fun new dye job.

“Kim Possible vibesss,” wrote actress and singer Kira Kosarin.

“Gorgeous!!!” said makeup artist Anton Khachaturian.

“She’s baaack,” makeup artist Ash Kholm added, referencing a similar hairstyle Winter rocked last year before returning to a darker hue to film the final episodes of “Modern Family.”

Winter hinted two weeks ago that she would go back to strawberry blonde after the hit ABC comedy wrapped its 11th and final season.

“Can’t wait to get back to this hair color,” she captioned a throwback photo on Feb. 7.

Winter previously dubbed herself a “hair chameleon” and said that, although her “Modern Family” character Alex doesn’t play around with her classic black locks, she feels like a “new woman” every time she gets her hair done.

“I’m pretty adventurous with my hair, I’ll try a lot of things,” she told People in 2019. “Alex doesn’t change up her look that much. I don’t experiment with it [on the show] so it’s fun for me to do it outside of work.”
