Brad Pitt makes joke about Prince Harry after BAFTA win

Margot Robbie channeled “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” co-star Brad Pitt Sunday when he won BAFTA’s Best Actor award, complete with quips about Brexit and Megxit, cracking up Prince William and Kate Middleton in the front row at Royal Albert Hall.

“Brad couldn’t be here tonight for a family obligation, so he asked me to read his response for him,” Robbie said Sunday.

“Hey Britain!” she said. “Heard you just became single. Welcome to the club.”

As the audience roared, she continued, “Wishing you the best with the divorce settlement. Blah blah blah.”

After the requisite thank yous to the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts, Pitt gave a hat tip to the “titans” of theater and film “who have come before,” and “the one and only” Quentin Tarantino, who directed.

In conclusion, “He says that he going to name this Harry because he’s really excited about bringing it back to the States with him,” Robbie said, as the audience cackled some more.

“His words, not mine!” she added, as she made a hasty exit and the camera whipped around to reveal Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, cracking up laughing in the front row.

Friday marked England’s official exit from the European Union, which had been in the works three years. It nearly coincides with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from their official Royal duties and their move to Canada.
