Brad Pitt had a big night at this year's Golden Globes: The veteran actor won the Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture award for his role in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood," he was at the center of one of the biggest viral stories to come out of the ceremony and he nearly stole the show on the event's red carpet with his classic movie star looks.

Pitt, 56, hit the red carpet in a classic black three-piece tuxedo, posing nonchalantly for photographers with his grown-out hair slicked back. The actor has been known to experiment with his facial hair through the years, but he wisely went clean-shaven for the evening, which served as the first big event of 2020 awards season.

There was also a moment that many may have missed: Pitt stepped out of his car outside of the Globes wearing some movie star-grade shades, making for a men's style moment that only a stud of Pitt's magnitude could deliver.

The sunglasses in question were Garrett Leight California Optical's Calabar Sunglasses in Black Laminate Crystal, which retail for a cool $360. The retro wayfarer style was "inspired by 50s car fins," the brand's website says, which definitely added to Pitt's vintage movie star entrance at the Golden Globes.

Garrett Leight California Optical (GLCO) was founded by Garrett Leight, whose father is the founder and creative director of iconic eyewear company Oliver Peoples. Leight was inspired by both his father and his hometown of Venice Beach to launch the brand, which has become synonymous with laidback California style.

And Brad Pitt wasn't the only star wearing them on the red carpet, either: Fellow winner, "Joker" actor Joaquin Phoenix, opted for the Ace Sunglasses in Black!
